Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials, including sheet metal. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using hand and power tools to produce high-quality components for our projects.

Responsibilities

Perform welding techniques as required, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. Fabricate components from metal and other materials according to specifications and drawings. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to assemble parts and complete projects. Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining a safe working environment. Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and organised manner.

Experience

Proven experience in welding is essential. Familiarity with fabrication processes, including the use of hand tools and power tools. Strong knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.

Pay: 12.50-14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
