Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques, particularly MIG welding, and have experience with fabrication processes. This role involves working with sheet metal and using hand and power tools to create high-quality components for our projects. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations essential for precise assembly.

Duties

Perform MIG welding and other welding techniques as required to fabricate components. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication of parts. Conduct quality checks on finished products to meet industry standards. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and resolve any issues that arise during fabrication. Assist in the assembly of final products, ensuring all components fit together correctly. Site installation Tig welders are needed if this is something you can do

Experience

Proven experience in welding, particularly MIG welding, is essential. Familiarity with fabrication processes and sheet metal work is highly desirable. Proficient use of hand tools and power tools related to welding and fabrication tasks. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment as needed. Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations during the fabrication process. Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or engineering environment is an advantage.
