Job Summary

Due to our continued growth and expansion, we are looking to recruit Welders Fabricators to strengthen our established team. Experience working either with structural steel, staircases or antivandal units would be an advantage, as would the ability to work at speed whilst maintaining quality and excellence in workmanship. In addition, the ability to interpret engineering drawings is essential.

We have a very competitive salary scale dependant on experience and level of job role/responsibilities. Overtime is readily available at an enhanced rate. Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications and engineering drawings. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively in the fabrication process. Perform welding tasks using various techniques, including stick welding, to join metal parts securely. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and resolve any issues that arise during fabrication.

Experience

MIG welding: 2 years (required) Proven experience in welding and fabrication, preferably in a modular setting and anti-vandal units. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications. Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment effectively. Familiarity with working with sheet metal is advantageous. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations related to measurements and angles. A commitment to safety practices and maintaining quality standards in all tasks performed.
