Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to specifications. Perform stick welding and other welding techniques on various materials, including sheet metal. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication. Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure adherence to standards. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.

Qualifications

Proven experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of different welding techniques. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the fabrication process. Mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
