We are a leading manufacturer of plastic water tanks and chemical storage solutions. We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our Production team, to maintain, modify and develop our range of rotational moulding tools.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment, ideally within rotational moulding or similar sectors.
Responsibilities
Maintain, modify and repair rotational moulding tools.
Fabricate, weld and repair metal structures used in the production process, as per engineering drawings.
Assist in developing new tooling and jigs for production improvements.
Work with sheet metal, panel beating and associated fabrication tasks.
Operate welding and metal working tools, including MIG, TIG and Arc welding.
Comply with health and safety legislation, regulations, organisational and environmental requirements and ISO standards.
Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals efficiently.
Qualifications
Welding certification- coded to comply with BS EN ISO 9606 (or other relevant UK welding standard)
Proven experience in welding and fabrication, particularly with sheet metal fabrication, panel beating and structural welding.
Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of welding techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
