We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials and understand technical drawings. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. The Fabricator/Welder will play a crucial role in assembling components and ensuring that all products meet our stringent quality standards.

Duties

Cut and fabricate steel gratings according to specifications and engineering drawings. Perform MIG welding and other welding techniques to join metal parts securely. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials. Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and resolve any issues that arise during fabrication. Apply basic maths skills for measurements and calculations necessary for precise fabrication.

Qualifications

Proven experience in welding, particularly stick welding, with a solid understanding of various welding techniques. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to metal fabrication. Basic mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
