Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various welding techniques. This role involves fabricating and assembling metal components to create high-quality products that meet our specifications and standards.

Duties

Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts. Perform welding tasks using both MIG and TIG methods. Fabricate components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Assemble finished products, ensuring all parts fit together correctly and meet quality standards. Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality control measures. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance overall production efficiency.

Qualifications

Proven experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to metal fabrication. Familiarity with basic maths for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A valid welding certification is preferred but not essential.
