Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with mild steel. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality production standards while adhering to safety protocols.

Duties

Welding and fabrication on heavy structural steel including staircases and mezzanine floors. Fabricate and assemble components according to specifications and engineering drawings. Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively for cutting and finishing materials. Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure adherence to quality standards. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition and adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining safety standards. Apply basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes. Hours Monday to Thursday : 7 till 4:30 Friday : 7 till 12 30 attendance bonus per week

Qualifications

Proven experience in welding and fabricating tasks. Proficiency in using various power tools and hand tools relevant to the trade. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately. Basic maths skills for precise measurements and calculations. A keen eye for detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
