Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced NVQ Level 3 qualified Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out high quality welding and fabrication processes. This role involves workshop and UK wide site working with metal components to create high-quality assemblies and structures, ensuring adherence to high safety standards and specifications.

Duties

Perform MMA/MIG and TIG welding to a high standard on various materials, ensuring precision and quality in all welds. Utilise hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal parts. Travel to client sites UK wide to carry out site installation and welding tasks Carry out miscellaneous tasks Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Demonstrate mechanical knowledge by troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise. Apply basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes.

Requirements

Proven experience in welding, particularly with MIG/TIG and MMA methods. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment. Strong understanding of sheet metal work and assembly techniques. Mechanical knowledge is essential for effective problem-solving on the job. Hold full UK driving licence Basic maths skills are required for accurate measurements and calculations. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
