We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fabrication and welding. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret technical drawings, ensuring that all components are welded/ fabricated and assembled to the highest standards.
Duties
oFabricate components according to specifications and technical drawings.
oPerform welding tasks using MMA, Mig and Tig welding techniques, ensuring strong and durable joints.
oAssemble fabricated parts using both power tools and hand tools, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
oConduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards.
oMaintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring that all equipment is properly stored and maintained.
oCollaborate with team members to improve production processes and resolve any fabrication issues that may arise.
Experience
oProven experience in fabrication and welding, particularly within medium to heavy mild steel and stainless-steel products.
oStrong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use basic maths for measurements and calculations.
oFamiliarity with various power tools and hand tools used in the fabrication process.
oAbility to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
oA commitment to maintaining safety standards within the workplace.
