About You:

Experience in a similar role essential

Site welding experience an advantage

Understanding of UKCA Marking procedures an advantage

Be able to accurately follow instructions given essential

Excellent attention to detail

Full driving licence

Possess a positive attitude towards Health & Safety

Good communication skills

Be physically fit to carryout manual tasks

Must be willing to learn

About The Role:

Weld small and large components such as beams for buildings and structural steel Consult drawings from drawing team in order to execute jobs and tasks to correct specification Assess equipment, structures, materials, and job specifications for appropriate welding positions and methods Monitor equipment for appropriate usage and temperature Maintain a thorough knowledge of universal standards and specifications in order to meet building codes and legal requirements such as UKCA Marking Develop a working knowledge of different welding methods and a variety of materials and components Follow safety protocol, including wearing correct PPE at all times
