The role:

40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

Oxy Acetylene/Propane cutting, washing and gouging Arc gouging Light and heavy vessel and structural fabrication Plasma cutting stainless steel Dish end making Track torch bevelling large plate up to 100mm referencing profile drawings Adhere to all HSE related standards including fume control Wear and maintain PPE at all times Mentor apprenticeships where needed

About you:

Valid welding certificate NVQ level 3 or equivalent CCSNG Safety Passport Ability to work as part of a team or individually Can read and interpret complex engineering drawings Can work on site fitting pipe support and other structural steelwork Can weld using FCAW (136) and MAG (135) process on plate, also using ceramic baking Ability to use plasma/oxy fuel profile bed is advantageous
