Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in structural fabrication and welding. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency in using both power and hand tools. As a Fabricator/Welder, you will play a crucial role in assembling components and ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process.

Duties

Fabricate components according to specifications and engineering drawings. Perform Mig welding and other welding techniques to assemble metal parts. Utilise basic maths skills to measure and cut materials accurately. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with standards. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and resolve any issues that arise during fabrication.

Qualifications

Proven experience in fabrication and welding, particularly with mig welding techniques. Strong welding knowledge and the ability to read technical drawings. Familiarity with structural steel work is highly desirable. Competence in using various power tools and hand tools safely. Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
