About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

Structural Steel Fabricator / Welder

to join our busy fabrication workshop. You will be working on structural steel components for commercial and industrial projects, fabricating and welding to a high standard from detailed engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities

Fabrication of structural steelwork including beams, columns, frames, and brackets MIG welding of structural steel components Working from fabrication and GA drawings Marking out, cutting, drilling, and assembling steelwork Ensuring weld quality meets structural standards Following health & safety and workshop procedures

Essential Requirements

Proven experience in

structural steel fabrication

Competent MIG welder (structural work) Ability to read and interpret structural and fabrication drawings Experience with heavy steel sections Good attention to detail and workmanship Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented

Desirable (Not Essential)

Coded welding (e.g. BS EN ISO 9606) Experience with site work / erecting steel Overhead crane or forklift experience CSCS card
