Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong hands-on experience in welding and fabrication. This role involves working with various materials, primarily sheet metal, to create high-quality products that meet our specifications and standards.

Duties

Perform Mig welding and other welding techniques to assemble components accurately. Fabricate parts and structures according to engineering drawings and specifications. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the fabrication process.

Qualifications

Proven experience in welding, particularly Mig welding, with a solid understanding of fabrication techniques. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the fabrication process. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations necessary for precise assembly. Familiarity with sheet metal work is highly advantageous. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
