Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials, particularly sheet metal. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using both power and hand tools to assemble components accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and weld components according to specifications and engineering drawings. Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble materials. Perform stick welding and other welding techniques as required for different projects. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during the fabrication process.

Requirements

Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication and welding. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings. Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment. Familiarity with stick welding techniques is essential. Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Pay: 11.66-12.00 per hour
