Facade Engineer

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Facade Engineer to join an established and growing building engineering consultancy, where you will be exposed to projects across a number of sectors, all while benefiting from excellent training opportunities and a clear progression route to Principal Engineer.

This established and expanding building engineering consultancy operates across the country, offering expert services in a range of disciplines. These include Facade Engineering, Civil and Structural Engineering, Fire Engineering, and Access Solutions, among others. They work across multiple sectors, including Residential, Commercial, and Public, serving a diverse range of clients. The company is in a strong period of growth, having expanded through acquisitions in recent years, and is now looking to continue this growth with this excellent opportunity.
In this role, your time will be split between the office, working from home, and visiting sites across Scotland and from Newcastle upwards. You will work alongside and support a team of senior engineers, taking on projects assigned by your team lead. Responsibilities will include conducting technical audits of subcontractor tenders, visiting sites to monitor project progress and provide advice when needed, and liaising with in-house Project Managers to manage client expectations both before and after projects. You will also be responsible for producing technical reports, which will include structural calculations, among other duties.
The ideal candidate will be a junior to intermediate engineer who is eager to work alongside senior engineers, gaining valuable experience through collaborative working and excellent development opportunities.
