We're looking for a dedicated Facilities & Resources Officer to join our team -- or partner with us on a contract basis -- to lead key operational functions including vehicle fleet management, property maintenance, and policy development.



Whether you're looking for a permanent employed role or are an experienced self-employed contractor, we'd love to hear from you.



What you'll be responsible for:




Managing our vehicle fleet: leasing, insurance, servicing, fuel cards, and EV support.

Coordinating property maintenance and statutory compliance (e.g. PAT testing, EPCs, legionella).

Reviewing, updating, and communicating policies and procedures across the organisation.

Supporting tendering processes, strategic business planning, and responding to operational queries.

What we're looking for:




Experience in facilities management.

Understanding of working in a care or support charity, ideally supporting vulnerable people.

Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a varied workload.

Confident communicator with a flexible, problem-solving approach.

Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.

Hiring on a permanent basis (part-time - we'll shape the role to suit the right person). Receiving proposals from contractors offering these services via a consultancy or freelance arrangement.
