The Role



We're on the lookout for a Facilities Assistant to provide hands-on support focused on the daily operation and general maintenance of our portfolio to ensure we provide an excellent experience and high quality standards to our guests.

Responsibilities:



Perform general handyman duties Respond promptly to call-outs to assist with guest requirements and property needs Execute routine maintenance tasks to ensure our properties and rooms are in optimal condition Linen manage - unpack linen deliveries, make up linen bags and organise storage efficiently Conducting property inspections and reporting maintenance and cleaning issues to the appropriate departments Collaborate with the Operations team to address and resolve maintenance issues Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and safety across all properties

Essential Requirements:



Strong handyman skills and the ability to perform various maintenance tasks Excellent organisational and time-management skills Proven experience in a fast paced role Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication skills to interact effectively with our guests and our team Physical fitness and ability to lift/move heavy objects. Clean UK Driving License is essential Able to work Saturdays / Sundays as part of the rotational rota Willingness to be on-call for emergencies outside of regular working hours on a rotational rota

Desirable Requirements:



Electrical, plumbing or joinery trades experience would be advantageous but is not essential Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality or property management industry

Schedule / Pay:



30 hours guaranteed but can expect between 30-40 hours per week Various shift times working 5 days out of 7 days per week with the earliest start time being 8am and the latest time being 10pm Rotational rota including both weekdays and weekends Hourly rate depending on experience
