EQUANS are looking for a Facilitates Assistant to join our team at Liverpool Central Library. This role would be a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week across Monday to Friday. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package. The shift rota consists of working the following;
Week 1 - 7am to 4pm
Week 2 - 8am to 5pm
Week 3 - 9:30 am to 6:30 pm
One week in three Thursday and Friday off due to weekend working.
General Overview:
The successful candidate will form part of a small team and will deliver PPM / Reactive tasks. The role includes a rota of working one weekend in three, with agreed days off in the week
Job Specification:
Carry out day to day maintenance and reactive tasks relating to all the building and fabric assets.
Be a first call response for leaks and blockages
Carry out a range of plumbing tasks e.g. tap repairs / replacements
Carry out a range of joinery tasks e.g. door repairs / installing new locks
Setting up of meeting rooms and IT Equipment as per booking forms.
Ensure all jobs assigned are completed with SLA rectification times
Utilise PDA to provide updates on work orders, ensuring sufficient information provided
Proactively carrying out a daily regime of 'find it fix it' and report it to the helpdesk and ensure it is followed up and fixed within our service level agreement.
Undertaking and recording statutory and planned maintenance duties
Participate in emergency call outs
Ability to manage a busy workload whilst maintaining high levels of service execution
Ensure risk assessments are completed and maintained for all tasks and all activities are undertaken within EQUANS Safe Systems of Work
Ensure all business specific SHEQ obligations are met, and procedures are adhered to
Maintain a safe and tidy working area
Safely operate all types of access equipment, hand and power tools in accordance with health and safety and manufacturers guidelines
Undertake training where necessary to maintain and develop the requirements of the service
Communicate effectively with site teams and management.
Embrace and adopt the EQUANS Safety First culture and policy.
To undertake additional duties in line with the role requirements.
Complexity:
Organise and manage their own time to ensure jobs/projects are completed on time and to budget
Work as part of the team and prioritise workload whilst planning ahead to ensure targets are met
Demonstrate EQUANS Safety First culture within the workplace
Experience of working in a public building
Qualifications or Required Experience:
Previous experience of fabric and plumbing works is essential.
C&G qualified or equivalent in joinery or plumbing services / maintenance
Demonstrate a good understanding and be technically competent in all building services
Proactive and achieving the highest standard of operation
