Are you a skilled and motivated Facilities Maintenance Engineer looking to join a growing and forward-thinking company? At Clover Technical Services, we pride ourselves on delivering top-tier FM solutions with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. We are now looking for an experienced engineer to join our team and play a key role in maintaining the standards our clients depend on.
You will be based at one site, but cover will be needed between all 3 times.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks in line with the scheduled programme
Ensure full compliance with KPIs, Health & Safety legislation, and site-specific requirements
Identify and action any remedial work from PPMs, either through self-delivery or by coordinating contractors via the DFM
Utilise the CAFM system to manage all work orders and update the asset database accurately
Maintain client portals (e.g., Hydro-X, Pest Portal) with all relevant documentation and updates
Deliver high-quality, reactive maintenance services across all FM disciplines
Prioritise effectively to ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues
Provide cover support across campus sites when needed due to holidays, sickness, or vacancies
Participate in the on-call rota (1 in 3 weeks minimum) - additional pay for extra on-call cover
Conduct regular visual inspections of plant, equipment, and building fabric to identify faults and suggest solutions
Escalate non-repairable faults promptly and provide accurate reporting
Manage subcontractors on-site, ensuring RAMS, site rules, and safety procedures are followed
Maintain regular communication with the DFM, providing updates on works, audits, and compliance
Act as the FM point of contact during DFM absences
Develop a strong working knowledge of the site's systems and FM needs
Adhere strictly to Health & Safety policies and report all incidents or near misses
Support minor project works, including small installations and alterations
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in an FM or building services role (multi-skilled preferred)
Electrical or mechanical qualifications
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
Strong understanding of PPM and reactive maintenance
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Good knowledge of CAFM systems and reporting
Able to manage time effectively and remain calm under pressure
