Facilities Maintenance Engineer/Technician

Onsite - Tewkesbury, GBR
We're recruiting Facilities Maintenance Technicians to join the Facilities team at Moog's Tewkesbury campus. You will support the safe, efficient running of the site by delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM), carrying out routine inspections, meter readings and sampling, and responding quickly to reactive issues to minimise production disruption.
Key responsibilitiesDeliver and support the PPM programme for building systems (HVAC, compressed air, electrical, plumbing, lighting). Carry out visual inspections, meter readings, sampling and routine checks to support compliance and safety. Respond to facility breakdowns and emergencies promptly to minimise downtime. Support energy, water and waste efficiency initiatives to help reduce operating costs. Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs and reports to support audits (ISO/HSE). Assist with facility improvement projects, layout changes and installations. Work closely with Production, Engineering and external contractors to coordinate maintenance activities with minimal disruption.

Who we're looking forEssentialProven experience as a Maintenance Technician in industrial or commercial environments. Good knowledge of building maintenance and repair techniques and strong fault-finding skills. Familiarity with PPM procedures and safe working practices. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Able to work independently, manage workload and prioritise under pressure. Full UK driving licence. Willingness to work shifts (24/5 support), including potential nights/weekends and emergency call-outs.
DesirableNVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in building trades, plumbing or electrical. Certifications such as Legionella (L8), F-Gas, PAT testing, 18th Edition, HVAC or similar. Health & Safety training and experience working at heights/confined spaces.

Working environment & special considerationsThe role supports a 24/5 manufacturing operation; shift work and on-call availability may be required. You will work around high-voltage systems, heavy plant and hazardous materials and must always follow safety procedures. The job requires excellent cross-functional communication with operators, team leaders and production managers.
