About the Role



We are seeking a skilled

Facilities Maintenance Technician

to ensure the operational efficiency and safety of our manufacturing sites in Great Yarmouth. This hands-on role involves maintenance, inspection, and repair of critical building services, utilities, and infrastructure. You will play a key role in compliance with UK health, safety, and environmental regulations while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities



Plan and sequence maintenance tasks to optimize production flow Inspect, repair, and upgrade building infrastructure and assets Maintain site safety, including external areas and winter conditions management Coordinate third-party repairs and perform safety inductions Ensure compliance with Lockout/Tagout procedures and safety standards Monitor stock levels of critical components and equipment Complete all required documentation within the QMS system Support team discussions, continuous improvement, and KPI maintenance Travel between local sites as necessary

Qualifications & Skills



Full UK driving licence NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Building Services, Electrical Installation, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent Valid or willingness to obtain MEWP and FLT licences 2-5 years' experience in a manufacturing or industrial facilities maintenance role Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) Strong practical skills using hand and power tools
