Knightstone Property is looking for a versatile and self-motivated
Facilities & Maintenance Technician
to join our growing team.
In this role, you'll take charge of managing residential and commercial properties while also handling day-to-day repairs and maintenance. If you're someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and making a real difference in tenants' lives, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
Facilities Management
Manage a portfolio of residential and commercial properties
Be the primary point of contact for tenants, staff and landlords
Handle tenant hand overs
Ensure properties comply with legal, compliance, safety, and regulatory standards
Coordinate with contractors and oversee service delivery
Track budgets and report on property performance
Maintenance & Repairs
Respond to maintenance requests and carry out routine repairs (e.g., basic
plumbing, basic electrical, carpentry, decoration and general hands-on work)
Perform regular property inspections, compliance and safety checks
Keep properties in top condition with proactive, preventative maintenance
Manage tools, online CRM, materials, and maintenance logs
Help with some aspects of events, company set up and logistics
Work closely with tenants, staff and landlords to resolve issues quickly and
professionally
What We're Looking For
3+ years of experience in property management, building maintenance, or both
Confident with hands-on maintenance: basic plumbing, carpentry, decorating,
and general hands on work etc.
Strong understanding of landlord, staff and tenant responsibilities with servicing,
H&S and compliance
Someone who can self-manage well and work within a larger team at times
Excellent communication, project management and time management skills
Understanding of using tablets, computers for CRM use
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Relevant trade qualifications (e.g., Gas Safe, Electrical) are a plus but not required
