We're looking for a proactive and experienced Facilities Manager to join our Operations team at Gowling WLG on a short-term basis. This role is vital in supporting our Property & Facilities Management function during a period of increased demand, ensuring continuity and excellence in service delivery.
You'll be responsible for overseeing supporting day-to-day facilities operations and management of projects, managing relationships, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, with strong organisational skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Within this role you will effectively support, the contracts managed by the Property and Facilities team across all UK properties ensuring a high quality service is provided to building users.
You will also be responsible to ensure all building assets are managed to a high standard and kept in excellent working order and all statutory and regulatory requirements are met.
This role will be mainly based at 2 Snowhill Birmingham but will also require travel to our other offices.
About you:
We're seeking a self-motivated and confident Facilities Manager, who will thrive under pressure, managing multiple clients' needs while delivering exceptional service. You'll be strategic in your approach, translating plans into action and building strong relationships with key stakeholders across all levels of the business.
With demonstrable facilities management experience and qualifications, you'll bring comprehensive statutory and regulatory knowledge, a solid understanding of hard services in large office buildings, and a proactive approach to risk management.
You'll have experience leading teams and driving high performance and be willing to travel between UK offices to support a unified team ethos.
