This diverse and interesting role is based within Beresfords Head Office, which is located in Boreham, Chelmsford, just off Junction 19 of the A12.


Our Group Resources team are currently recruiting for an experienced Facilities Management professional.


In this pivotal and diverse role, you will deliver high quality support across our head office and branch network for all maintenance, repairs and estate management including our Holiday Let business, whilst maintaining and developing working relationships with our external contractors, suppliers and internal maintenance team. You will assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new staff, have an understanding of basic Health & Safety within the work place, and manage our vehicle fleet including procurement & disposal, vehicle assigning and inspections.


You will also assist with internal relocations, space reconfiguration, project management, lease renewals, property inspections, tenancies, department process & procedures, telecommunications, group insurances, utilities, & IT.


No day is the same, whether it be dealing with an IT issue, assigning a new car to a team member or carrying out a maintenance inspection at one of our branches. Suitable candidates must have the ability to multitask and work effectively on several projects at any one time. A logical and creative thinker is required with a proactive 'can do' attitude, who adopts a firm but fair approach. You will cope well under pressure, and be super organised. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of +5 years experience in Facilities Management or an Office Management environment, have a full driving licence and be a car owner.


Working hours are 8.30-6.00 Monday-Thursday & 8.30-5.30 Friday. The successful candidate will need to adopt a flexible approach on working hours as on an occasional basis, it may be necessary to assist outside of hours due to the nature of the role and our responsibilities to all stakeholders.
