In this role, you'll be at the heart of delivering projects that keep our buildings safe, efficient, and fit for purpose. From supporting investment works like boiler replacements and solar PV installations to assisting with compliance audits and condition surveys, you'll play a key part in maintaining and improving our estate.
Your work will span a diverse range of sites - leisure centres, civic offices, and operational depots - giving you the chance to tackle varied challenges and make a tangible impact. You'll collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure projects run smoothly, budgets are managed effectively, and statutory requirements are met.
You'll thrive in this role if you are:
Experienced in contract administration and project support within the building or leisure industry.
Have knowledge of health and safety legislation and building regulations.
Have strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
A full driving licence and willingness to travel across sites.
What you'll be doing
Assisting with planned and reactive projects, from boiler replacements to solar PV installations.
Supporting compliance audits and condition surveys across Council facilities.
Helping deliver investment projects and monitoring maintenance obligations.
Working closely with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure projects run smoothly and meet statutory requirements.
