Facilities Services Operative Apprentice

to join our Site team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to kickstart their career in facilities and gain valuable hands-on experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:



Assisting with general building maintenance and cleanliness across the site Ensuring health and safety standards are adhered to Supporting in setting up meeting rooms, events, and any other facilities-related tasks Monitoring and maintaining equipment and supplies Carrying out basic repairs and maintenance tasks as directed Assisting with waste management and recycling procedures Working closely with the Facilities Manager and other team members on various projects Learning about key areas of facilities management such as building systems, security, and health & safety compliance Key holder supporting with the opening and closing of the school


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Keen interest in facilities management and building maintenance Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality Good communication skills and a positive attitude Ability to work well as part of a team Willingness to learn and develop new skills Previous experience in a similar role (not essential but a bonus) A valid UK driving license (preferred but not essential) Attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to contribute to a team environment GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade C/4 or above
