Facility and Logistics Specialist

The Opportunity:

As a facility and logistics manager, you know that every program relies on clearly defined management processes to work. Understanding our clients\' requirements and using tools and software is critical to ensuring the integrity of the mission. We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a facility and logistics engineer like you to apply your engineering and process improvement experience in order to meet our clients\' requirements. Using your skills in logistics and facility management, you\xe2\x80\x99ll help coordinate all system elements and ensure long-lasting integration and sustainment.

As a facility and logistics manager on our client\'s team, you\xe2\x80\x99ll help identify the root cause of issues and help solve the concerns of our client. You\xe2\x80\x99ll use your findings to create a path forward that meets design requirements and ensures functionality. Your experience and understanding of specifications and government or contractor material is essential to ensuring quality when designing mission-critical solutions. In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll use your engineering knowledge in facility management to contribute to the safety of the warfighter. You\xe2\x80\x99ll work closely with senior team members and grow your skills in root-cause analysis and process improvement resolution. Use your curiosity and solution-oriented mindset to contribute to mission-critical facilities for our client.

You Have:

Experience with tracking projects from initiation to completion

Experience in conducting monthly inventory of supplies

Experience with technical applications, including Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Ability to perform inventory management of client\'s supplies

Ability to troubleshoot facilities issues to identify the root cause of problems

Ability to read facility blueprints

Ability to produce ad-hoc reports of supply inventory

Secret clearance

HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

Experience in accountability of supplies using a local inventory management automated system

Experience with negotiation

Ability to forecast planning of needed materials

Ability to assemble parts and material

Bachelor\'s degree in Facilities Management

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual\xe2\x80\x99s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $49,800.00 to $102,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen\xe2\x80\x99s total compensation package for employees.
