Job Description

We are seeking to recruit a Facility Manager to take the lead in ensuring operational excellence at the GoCardless Stadium, Culver Road, Lancing.



The Facility Manager will ensure the stadium is maintained as a vibrant, safe, and welcoming hub for football and wider community engagement, serving users from across Sussex. In addition, the role will play a key part in supporting the delivery of theGrassroots Football Strategy, helping to strengthen the future of the game at every level.

We are the not-for-profit governing body of football in Sussex, proudly serving over 500 clubs and 50,000 players across the county. Our mission is to inspire positive change through football - promoting participation, safeguarding, wellbeing, and supporting inclusive opportunities for all. From grassroots to the professional game, we work to ensure football in Sussex is safe, fun, and accessible, while upholding the highest standards of governance and development.

In recent months, we've launched new digital systems to streamline referee availability, secured Football Foundation funding for grassroots facility upgrades, and hosted inclusive events such as the Sussex Walking Sports Day and Disability Day Centre Festivals. Our commitment to equality and innovation continues to grow, with expanded female coaching pathways, mental health initiatives and more. To join the team and be successful, the individual must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the role on offer and how their expertise and experience will enable them to meet the essential and desirable criteria within the role.

The successful applicant will report to the Chief Executive Officer.

The role involves working

35 hours per week

including evening and weekend work as required.

The salary range for the position is 30,000 to 34,000. The position offers 20 days leave

per annum

and is subject to a

3-month probationary period

.
