Role Description

We're looking for a reliable and hands-on Factory Assistantto join our team at Weldit LLP in Luton. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards.

About the Role

As a Factory Assistant, you'll play an important part in supporting the smooth running of our operations. The role includes packing finished products and operating light sheet metal machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

Pack and prepare products for dispatch Operate light machinery safely and efficiently Keep the factory floor clean and organized Support the production team with general duties
You'll be part of a committed team in a well-established local business. We pride ourselves on high-quality production, great service, and a safe working environment for all. Training and support will be provided to help you succeed in the role.

Hours: 8.30am-5pm Mon-Fri

Salary: 25,396.80 per annum

Holiday: 20 days per year plus Bank Holidays

Requirements:

Reliable, hands-on, and eager to learn Team player with good attention to detail Previous factory/machinery experience helpful, but not essential Physically fit and safety-conscious Eligible to work in the UK
