The Role

We are currently looking for a Factory Cleaner to join our team based in the south side of Glasgow to support in the general factory cleaning activities across the site.

This is a Monday to Friday days-based role with some out of hours work required to meet business needs. They will be working alongside the in-house facilities team to ensure the continued smooth running of our factory. Full time or part time is available.

Your responsibilities will include:

Daily cleaning of all factory floor areas across the site. Use of manual and driveable floor cleaning equipment. Adhere to and continuously improve on safety practices for all activities that are carried out. Working with the team and taking direction from the departmental manager to ensure efficient and effective working.

Essential/Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

Essential

Previous experience in the use of floor cleaning equipment. Display effective communication skills. Participate in and understand Continuous Improvements activities, knowledge of 6S or lean principles is advantageous. Be flexible, dependable, and willing to compromise and work alongside the needs of other colleagues and contractors.
