About Us:

Dessian Products Ltd is a well-established double glazing manufacturer based in Cumbernauld, supplying high-quality uPVC and aluminium windows and doors to trade, commercial, and new-build customers across Scotland. We have a strong reputation for reliability, service, and craftsmanship.

The Role:

We're looking for a hands-on Lead Hand to take responsibility for the daily output and performance within the factory. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a busy, team-oriented environment and takes pride in hitting targets and maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations and support a team of production staff Set and communicate daily and weekly targets Organise workflow and assign responsibilities Lead, motivate, and coach team members Monitor performance and report on progress to management Ensure products are manufactured on time and to quality standards Maintain housekeeping and safety standards across the factory Support training and development of new and existing employees Ensure machinery and equipment are properly maintained and inspected

About You:

Proven people management and leadership skills Experience in a manufacturing or glazing environment essential Highly organised, analytical, and target-driven Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail Reliable, proactive, and a genuine team player Basic Health & Safety understanding
