Role Overview:

As a Line Leader, you will oversee daily operations on the assembly line, ensuring that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. As a key leader on the floor, you will coordinate team activities, monitor quality standards, and uphold safety protocols to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

The smooth running of the production line on a shift basis.

Ensuring that the targets are met.

Ensuring nil downtime is achieved through a proactive approach.

Ensuring hygiene, quality and safety standards are met.

To set up and always manage the production lines to achieve plan.

To organise the supply and use of all materials to the line.

To monitor material usage ensuring no under/overweight finished product.

Complete necessary records and paperwork.

Keep lines clean and tidy to comply with best practice and ensure staff adhere to personal hygiene rules.

To control, organise, train, motivate and communicate with operatives on the line.

To ensure health and safety standards are always maintained.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

Experience gained in manufacturing.

Understanding of Health and Safety guidelines .

Team Leader or Line Leader experience in a previous role
