A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Nelsons Butchers to join our family run business as a Factory Operative (Food Manufacturing). We are looking for a hardworking, responsible, reliable, versatile, and flexible person to fulfil this role.

Job Responsibilities
This is a very versatile role with varying responsibilities including:
Baking, pastry, pork pie and Sausage making.
Operate production machinery and equipment safely and effectively.
Follow recipes, specifications, and work instructions to maintain product quality.
Carry out quality checks at each stage of production and report any non-conformance.
Ensure strict compliance with food safety hygiene and health and safety standards (HACCP)
Assist with set up and cleaning maintenance.

Person Specification
Previous Experience working in a food production environment is essential.
Butchery experience would be an advantage.
Full training will be given
Excellent organisation skills.
Able to work within a small team with good communication and teamwork skills.
Highly motivated with strong attention to detail.
Physically fit and able to work in a fast paced environment.
Full clean driving license.
Hours of Work and Benefit
21,500.00 per annum.
3 month probation period.
32 hours Monday-Thursday 7am - 3.30pm
(flexibility will be required during busier periods and for holiday/sick cover)
