Hours:

37.5 hours per week, Week 1 - Monday to Thursday 06:00 - 14.00 and Friday 06:00 - 11:30. Week 2 - Monday to Thursday 12:00 - 20.00 and Friday 10:30-16:00

Salary:

13.26 per hour

Job Overview

The position will be mixed and varied covering all aspects of the ceramics manufacturing process. It is important to note that that the company offers continual training for its operatives. Whilst fulfilling these duties PPE will be worn by all operatives; this would include safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in production and manufacturing roles. Furthermore, they must have a valid Forklift certificate.

Key Responsibilities

The key tasks in this role will include:

Prepping and mixing of ceramics materials

Undertaking a variety of casting and pressing processes

Loading and unloading dryers

Cleaning and preparation of products pre and post kiln

Loading and unloading kilns

Quality inspection of products

Packing

Manual Handling, up to 25kg bags - Although lifting aids such as hoists & fork lift trucks are available

Skills & Experience

Valid FLT Licence

Ideally have experience in a production role

Basic mathematics skills

Basic literacy skills

Prepared to take random drugs and alcohol tests
