Gi Group\'s highly successful and market leading client is currently seeking a motivated individual to join their growing organisation as a Factory Shift Manager. The primary purpose of this role is to manage and co-ordinate all aspects of the department and team.

This role will involve:

• Ensure the adherence to Health & Safety using Assure (H&S management system)
• Various reports including health and safety, etc
• Food safety Procedures and Regulation are always followed
• Ensure an effective handover of the shift to the outgoing/incoming Supervisor to maximise performance
• Manage and monitor the team\'s performance
• Plan appropriate staffing levels
• Identify and lead the implementation of process improvements to maximise the team\'s performance
• Identify and manage the training needs of the team and ensure a succession plan is in operation
• Monitor and manage attendance and ongoing performance of the team
• Assist in the delivery of exceptional customer service
• Using the IT programmes

Skills & Experience:

• Ideally FMCG experience
• Leadership skills
• Employee relations experience
• Line management experience
• Planning and organising skills
• Communication and interpersonal skills Microsoft - intermediate
• Time/attendance system management
