About the Role




The University of Manchester is seeking a Faculty Alumni Officer to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in designing and delivering tailored alumni volunteering programmes that directly support the strategic priorities of the Faculty of Humanities.


You'll collaborate with colleagues across the Faculty, the wider University, and the Division of Development and Alumni Relations (DDAR) to deliver innovative engagement programmes. These initiatives will focus on supporting the University's campaign goals, particularly in the areas of student recruitment, employability, and social responsibility.

About You




To succeed in this role, you will bring:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, from planning through to delivery Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform decision-making A high level of tact, discretion, and professionalism when handling confidential information The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
