Tiny Hearts Contact Team is expanding, and we are seeking qualified Contact Supervisors to join our team on a part-time basis.
This role is suited to professionals with a minimum Level 3 Childcare qualification.
Applicants currently attending university (for example, studying childcare, social work, psychology, or a related field) are also welcome to apply
, provided they meet the essential requirements and can commit to the required hours.
About the Role
As a Contact Supervisor, you will:
Supervise and support contact sessions between children and family members
Ensure children's safety, wellbeing, and emotional needs are prioritised at all times
Observe, record, and produce clear written reports following each session
Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures
Work independently across different settings while remaining part of a supportive team
Hours
Part-time, session-based work
Sessions take place between
3:00pm and 6:00pm
(for example, 4:00pm-5:30pm)
Weekend availability
Location
Sessions will take place at various contact centres across the
Barking and Dagenham
area
Applicants must be able to travel between local venues as required
Essential Requirements
Minimum
Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent)

Experience working with children and families
Strong communication, observation, and report-writing skills
Calm, professional, and child-focused approach
Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
