We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Family Liaison Assistant to join our team at Palatine

Primary School. In this role, you'll be the vital link between home and school, supporting families and

pupils with special educational needs and disabilities.

Start Date: ASAP

Permanent

Maximum of 32.5 hrs per week

Term Time only plus 5 inset days,

Grade 5 - 19,360.86 - 19,669.62 actual salary



Closing date: 9.00am on 14th July 2025

What You Need to Succeed



To be successful in this role you will need to:



We are looking for a Family Liaison Assistant who:

Follows all safeguarding policies and procedures and is committed to the highest standards of

care and safeguarding

Upholds the values and vision of the school Is caring and understanding of children's needs Has experience of directly working with children with SEN Is very well organised & efficient Acts as a key link between home and school, promoting positive relationships and communication Has attention to detail and excellent record keeping Supports safeguarding, welfare and first aid within the school Communicates with a range of stakeholders including Parents/ Carers, medical professionals, staff

and children

Prioritises and manages own workload ensuring time critical tasks are completed Works as part of a team Is open to advice, feedback and guidance from colleagues Has a good standard of general education, including GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

at grade 4 / C or above.

Has a First Aid qualification or is happy to gain the relevant qualifications Has managing medicines qualification and/or experience
