The Role:

The Family Link Worker will plan, develop and deliver early learning sessions for families In the role of Family Link Worker you will extend your support into the home, guiding parents through Peep, Play at Home and various other programmes to create a positive learning environment and ensure their children are ready to transition to nursery or school The Family Link Worker will collaborate with local schools, nurseries and community settings to provide a range of services that promote children's learning and development, with a particular focus on speech, language, and communication skills In the role of a Family Link Worker you will provide direct support to children and families facing a range of challenges, developing targeted intervention plans in collaboration with families and partner agencies as part of the Family Help offer Family Link Workers facilitate a variety of parenting courses such as You and Me Mum, Nurture Programme, Baby Massage, and Welcome to Play (training will be provided) . Complete evaluation reports and case studies to track progress, celebrate achievements and help shape future service delivery

What We're Looking For:

A dynamic and motivated individual who is passionate about supporting children and families. Strong interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with parents and caregivers, encouraging cooperation and positive outcomes for their children. The ability to observe, plan, and deliver engaging and effective learning sessions for children under five. A commitment to working in partnership with local schools, nurseries, and community services to ensure the best possible opportunities for young children.

This is a part time permanent role 21 Hours per week
