Private Family Law cases primarily covering Children, Injunctions and Financial matters.

Working from home, except when attending court.

This will be a subcontractor/self-employed position, allowing you to set your working days and hours. You will receive a commission on your sales, as well as fixed fees for attendance at court, plus reimbursement for travel expenses. Your invoices are paid to you on a weekly basis.

You will cover family courts in London and further afield.

Key Areas

Providing information, guidance, and quoting fees to prospective clients in initial consultation sessions.

Attending in-person & remote court hearings with clients (McKenzie Friend role).

Supporting clients through all stages of family court proceedings.

Assisting clients with drafting statements, completing application forms & compiling digital bundles.

This is a fee-earning position.

Training in the role provided.

An ability to work independently as well as in a team is necessary, and you will be self-motivated and hardworking. You will need to be committed to providing superior service, possess strong sales abilities, have practical time management skills, good communication skills, and be organised. Additionally, you will be required to work to client deadlines and be confident enough to ask for our help and guidance as you provide valuable assistance to often anxious clients in challenging family situations.

A good Law degree Legal experience as a family law paralegal (preferred) A clear understanding & application of Private Family Law Knowledge of - Child Arrangements Order; Prohibited Steps Order; Specific Issue Order; Non-Molestation Order; Occupation Order Friendly and confident phone abilities Strong client service skills required Reliability & diligence are essential Business acumen

Pay: 25,000.00-33,000.00 per year
