Job Summary:

We are seeking an ambitious and career focused Family Paralegal to join our ever-growing team. The successful candidate will be working closely with the Head of the Family team and Principal of the firm to support the growth of the department. You will be dealing with a mix of privately funded family matters. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable law firm and make a significant impact in the lives of our clients

About The Role

Initially, the role will primarily involve taking instructions from Family Dept Solicitor(s) and assisting in the drafting of documents / caseload support. Depending upon existing experience upon application or with experience gained through "on the job training," the role may develop into:

- Providing comprehensive legal advice and guidance to clients
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents
- Conducting legal research and stay up-to-date with changes in legislation (via standard methods or with our Ai systems)
- Managing a caseload of family files, ensuring all deadlines are met and clients are kept informed of progress
- Attending meetings with clients to discuss their needs and provide appropriate legal solutions
- Collaboration with other members of the legal team to provide a seamless service to clients
- Maintaining accurate records of all client interactions and case details

About you

The ideal candidate must have:

- A strong work ethic and strong interpersonal skills
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and provide excellent customer service

Due to the nature of the role, homeworking is not appropriate for this position and your attendance at the office is required. Salary offered is commensurate to experience, however we are happy to take applications from recent graduates looking for their first position if you feel you have the right skill set
