Role Purpose





We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Family Law Solicitor to join our esteemed team. The successful candidate will have a strong background and reputation in family law, with a proven track record of handling complex cases and providing expert legal advice. This role requires a professional who is adept at managing a diverse caseload, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to the strategic development of the firm as well as forging excellent long-term relationships with business partners.


Key Responsibilities




Case Management: Handle a broad range of family law matters, including divorce, financial remedy and wealth protection cases. Client Relations: Provide high-quality legal advice to clients, ensuring clear communication and a client-focused approach throughout the legal process. Cultural Ambassador: Embrace, nurture and develop the CLEAR core values of the firm and ensure that these are upheld, delivered and meaningful to everyone who encounters the family law team. Business Development: Contribute to the growth of the firm's family law team by attracting high quality new business as well as forging and maintaining excellent long term relationships with business partners. Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and policies. Strategy: Collaborate with other senior managers in the team to develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at further growth of the firm's family law team.

Person Specification




Excellent legal skills, personal communication and strategic thinking. Empathetic and client-focused. Ability to manage a high-quality caseload with efficiency and attention to detail. Proven track record of attracting quality legal work from business partners and managing long-term relationships. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Highly organised and able to work under pressure. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Technical Knowledge




Proficient in using legal practice management software. Detailed knowledge of the primary legislation and case law impacting the key areas of family law. Committed to continuous professional development.
