Overall job purpose

To work in partnership with parents and carers in promoting the values of Flying Start and to actively encourage parents to participate.




To manage the planning of and facilitate the delivery of appropriate activities for children and families within a range of settings.




To provide additional support to families in partnership with the Health Visitors and Speech & Language Therapist, Childcare settings and other agencies that are within the project.




To deliver a range of Parenting Programmes, Early Language promotion through Language & Play, Number & Play groups and a range of family activities within Flying Start areas, to parents within the home and in groups
