The Practice



This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident farm vet to be part of a team dedicated to delivering excellent care to our diverse client base of dairy, beef and sheep farms. With surgeries in Kendal and Kirkby Lonsdale, we pride ourselves on blending traditional values with a forward-thinking approach to herd health and farm consultancy.

The Area



We have 1 practice outside of the Lakes and 1 in the Dales both beautiful areas and only 13 minutes apart, you would be required to work at both sites' dependant on cases but flexible regarding where you start there day. The area boasts plenty of walking, great for outdoor living and adventure plus beautiful scenery with great transport links.

The Rota



1 in 5 weekends on call, plus 1 weeknight on rota on call from 5.30pm - 8am. Happy to accommodate a 4 day or 5-day week dependant on your preference. The on-call hours are added to your salary.

The Role



We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic farm vet to help shape the future of our farm services, support colleagues, and help drive innovation in areas such as data-driven decision-making, preventative health plans, and farmer education.

You will be part of a team of 4 farm vets, no specific farm nurses but all are always happy to help especially with calving. The overall team consists of 4 farm vets, 8 nurses, 10 support staff
