We are a busy family-run Farm Shop located in Blairlogie, Stirling, open 7 days a week 9-5pm. We aim to provide exceptional, friendly, high-quality service to our valued customers. On site we have our Farm Shop, furniture department and 2 coffee shops.

Summary



We are seeking a friendly, dedicated Retail Assistant to join our team within our shop setting here at Blairmains. We are currently looking to hire someone on a temporary basis as we move closer into the busy festive period. There will also be the possibility to remain with us once into the new year, progressing to a permanent position.

PLEASE NOTE this role requires 2 days of midweek shifts as well as weekend flexibility. Minimum shifts will be 2-3 per week with the opportunity for up to 5 days to assist with holiday cover when available and to cover busier days on the run up to Christmas.

Our farm shop covers a large area within the building and is fast paced as we move closer to the busier months. We offer a large range of produce, giftware and furniture. Retail and/or hospitality skills preferred but not essential as training will be given. This role is vital in supporting our mission to deliver fresh, quality products as well as great customer service while ensuring smooth operations. Your contributions will help us maintain our reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities



Assist with daily operations related to shop turnaround and preparation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas. Support inventory management and stock replenishment. Engage with customers to provide excellent service. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow. Help with merchandising displays as needed. Uphold health and safety standards at all times. Till work, cash handling and taking phone calls included.

Qualifications



Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Basic math skills for inventory management. Previous experience in a customer-facing role preferred. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Enthusiasm for learning about retail organization and preparation.

Important additional information



We are semi-rural so driving is preferred but not essential. Bus stops are located at either end of the farm loan. Staff parking on site. Free lunch provided. Uniform provided. Staff discounts available within our 3 coffee shops and farm shop. Working hours between 8.45am - 5.15pm.
