Westpoint Farm Vets have a great opportunity for you to join our 5 vet team based at our RCVS accredited practice at Murton based just outside the beautiful city of York.

We have been providing a livestock focused service since 2000 and in 2018 we joined VetPartners further expanding our network of experienced farm clinicians.


Our dedicated team of farm vets, many of whom have further specialist certificates, work together to provide in depth advice and support at a local level.

The Role:

We are looking for a real team player that has the confidence, experience and skills to manage a varied caseload which includes mostly beef and sheep but with some dairy, camelid and export work.

Salary up to 45,000 depending on experience Permanent, full-time 40 hrs/week Rota includes 1 night per week and 1 in 5 weekends on call (for which you will receive a day off in lieu)

We are located just a few miles east of the historic city of York with the beautiful North York Moors, Yorkshire Wolds and east coast within easy reach. York itself offers something for everyone with tourist attractions including the Minster and the ancient walls plus a wide range of shops, eateries and a multitude of events and festivals.


Situated right next to the A64 there are great road links plus London is under 2 hours away by rail from York.
