Job Summary

We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our friendly, family-run Organic farm. This is a varied and rewarding work environment, where you'll be part of a dedicated team.

Primarily this role is based within our chicken butchery. You will be part of the team responsible for the slaughter and butchering of our poultry. Experience is preferable but not essential as full training will be provided.

The remainder of the week the role would involve caring for our livestock, assisting with arable operations and farm maintenance.

Full-time preferred but part-time can be discussed for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Assisting in the catching, slaughtering and butchering of poultry.

Ensuring high welfare standards for our chickens, cattle, sheep and pigs.

Cleaning, scraping, bedding and feeding.

Collecting eggs.

Assisting with health and stock management.

Skills

butchery experience preferred but not essential. basic math skills for calculations related to farm operations ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently knowledge of animal care practices is advantageous a can-do attitude and problem-solving skills.
