Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Farm Worker/Tractor Driver to join our agricultural team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily farm operations, ensuring the health and maintenance of Combinable Crops and Potatoes and supporting overall farm productivity. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in agriculture and equipment maintenance within a dynamic rural environment. Applicants should be physically fit, motivated and eager to contribute to sustainable farming practices.
Duties
Spring Cultivations, Seed Bed Preparations such as: Discing Power Harrowing Potato Bed Prep Haulage of Seed to and from Field through to looking after crops with Irrigation and Transporting of Fertiliser/Chemical to field for Application Carting of Crops at Harvest to Store Helping to Maintain Equipment to High Standard & Sorting and Grading out Produce during Winter Months as requiredSkills Include
Full UK Driving Licence Required Basic Mechanical Knowledge/Interest with Workshop Skills an Advantage Previous Tractor Experience Necessary Previous Use of GPS an Advantage Keen Interest in Growing of Crops as the Season Develops an Advantage Ability to Work on Own Initiative and as Part of a TeamJob Type: Full-time
Pay: From 14.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
